About Apple Valley 24/7 Plumbing
We built this service around one idea: when water is on the floor, a person should answer the phone and say what happens next. Here is how we work, what we cover and how to check any plumber before you hire.
Who we are and what we do
Apple Valley 24/7 Plumbing is a plumbing service based at 20200 US Highway 18 in Apple Valley, California, in San Bernardino County. We take emergency calls at any hour and schedule routine work during the day, and we serve Apple Valley, Victorville, Hesperia and nearby High Desert towns.
We do not hide behind a form. Calling (760) 986-1999 puts you in touch with dispatch, who asks what is happening, explains the likely cause and the price, and books the next appointment. Same-day appointments are available when schedules allow.
This page describes how we work, because that is something we can stand behind. It does not list awards, review counts or years in business, since we only publish what we can show you.
How we handle every call
- We ask before we assume. Where is the water coming from, is the main valve closed and is the home on a sewer or a septic system.
- You hear the price first. A clear price comes before work starts, and we explain what changes it.
- We say what we find. If a repair is enough, we do not suggest a replacement.
- We tell you what is outside our scope. Septic tank pumping, electrical work and large construction belong to other trades.
- We leave you with next steps. Where a part of the job is for you, such as drywall repair, we say so.
The services we cover
Our work falls into a few families. Drains and sewers include drain cleaning, hydro jetting, sewer line repair, sewer line cleaning and sewer inspection. Water heaters include repair, replacement, installation and tankless service.
Leaks and pipes cover leak detection, burst pipe repair, slab leak repair and repiping. Fixtures cover toilets, faucets, disposals and plumbing installation. We also work on commercial plumbing and water softener and filtration systems. The full list is on our services page.
What happens when you call
How to check any plumber before you hire
California requires plumbing contractors to hold a license from the Contractors State License Board. The Board's website has an online license lookup, where you can search by license number or business name and see the status of a license and any complaint disclosure. We encourage you to use it for us and for anyone else you consider.
Ask three more things before you agree to a job. Ask for the price in writing or by text before work begins. Ask what is included, such as parts, disposal and cleanup.
And ask what could change the price and why. A plumber who answers plainly is worth more than one who quotes fast.
Why a local base matters in the High Desert
The High Desert has its own plumbing habits. Winter nights in Apple Valley can fall into the low 20s, so freeze damage is a real concern, and summer afternoons near 110F stress water heaters and outdoor lines. Liberty Utilities, which serves about 81 percent of the Town, reported a 2022 hardness average near 80 ppm, so scale is a long-term factor for heaters and fixtures.
Sewer and septic add a split most big cities do not have. According to Town planning documents, about 30 percent of Apple Valley development is sewered and about 70 percent is on septic, so the first question on many calls is what the home is connected to. Knowing that shapes what we recommend and what we send you to another professional for.
